Tolga Mutlu – Executive Chef

Tolga was born in Istanbul and received his culinary degree from Istanbul Okan University. He interned at the most popular five-star hotel in Istanbul, Conrad Istanbul and continued to develop his unique technique and creativity. Tolga met Batuhan Piatti, who had a huge influence on his career at Conrad Istanbul, where they starred in the infamous travel and gourmet culinary program, ”Hayat Batuhan’a Güzel” on CNN Turk. Tolga who speaks English, Turkish and Italian continued to develop his culinary mastery and opened Cipriani Restaurant where he met Walter Giardinelli who helped him reach even a higher level of culinary arts. After consulting for Günaydın and various restaurants, Tolga became a leader in the food and beverage operations in Eurovision held in Baku in 2012. With his curiosity on different yet original flavors, his research for local food and local customs continued in Istanbul, Monte Carlo and Dubai, where he continued as an executive chef in Flavio Briatore’s Billionaire Mansion Dubai with Chef Walter and Chef Piatti. Tolga has proven that with a pinch of taste on his back pack, he can show the world that cooking is an art. For him independence is dependent on trying, refreshing and being original and he continues his passion with us at The H Cuisine as our executive chef.

Rifat Altuntaş – Chef

Rifat was born in 1988 in Istanbul and graduated with a culinary degree from Istanbul Aydın University. He has worked with Julien Piquet of Brasserie Lipp in Zurich, Martin Satow of the Grand Hyatt, Singapore, Fabrice Giraud of Maison Blanche (Michelin 2-Star), and Mert Şeren of Da Mario, to develop and upgrade his skills and knowledge in the kitchen. Rıfat has reshaped recipes and traditional techniques to create unique flavors at an open fire concept and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from some of the finest restaurants around the world, including Novotel of France, Park Hyatt Prime, Shangri-La Hotel Istanbul, Fenix Restaurant, Ferah Feza, Mürver Restaurant and Hacı Steakhouse. He now gets to share his experiences with us at The H Cuisine.

Serdar Yaman – Chef

Serdar was born in Yalova in 1987 and spent his childhood in the fields, where he developed a passion for gastronomy. He received his degree in Gastronomy from Uludag University and began his career in 2003 with various hotels abroad and returned to Turkey in 2010 as an Executive Chef at the Istanbul Park Hyatt. In 2013, Serdar continued his life passion and worked at Shangri-La, Ist-too Restaurant, Hilton Bomonti and The Globe Restaurant. He has traveled to 35 countries with Turkish Do&Co to enrich his culinary experience and learn various techniques. At the Dubai Billionaire Mansion, he joined the team of Chef Duran Özdemir and has returned to America as our chef at The H Cuisine in Orlando.

Duran Özdemir – General Manager

Born in 1981 into a family with a history of owning and operating various restaurants in Turkey, Duran received his degree in international affairs from Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey. He has traveled to approximately 70 countries during his professional career, searching for local foods and ingredients to create culinary masterpieces that bring the true flavors of foods to the plate. His specialty includes foods that have traditional cultivation techniques, endemic plants, and local sustainable meat throughout the Mediterranean. Combining his research with the Turkish Steakhouse concept developed by Cuneyt Asan, Duran unveiled his own restaurant named Hacı four years ago in Kayseri, Turkey, in honor of his late father. Continuing his research for local products and traditional techniques, Duran unveils a new restaurant in Orlando in August 2018 with authentic dishes that have been developed specially for this new concept and is our General Manager at The H Cuisine.
